Dear Mr.HONGKONGMAN,My sister and I will be in Hong Kong on this August 25. We have a short stopover in here (about 8 hours). We want to go outside to sightseeing and enjoy the food in here; however we have no clue now. Could you please help us with a bunch of questions? Thank you in advance.1/ How can we go out of the airport?2/ We have heard that we need a card for transportation and In-town Check-in? We don't know what card the best is and what the In-town Check-in mean is, too? Could you please explain for us?3/ We want to go straight from the airport to Mong Kok. How can we do it?4/ Here is our plan. Could you please to take a look?We arrive in Hong Kong at 15h10 and then we want to go to Mong Kok. After eating and shopping in there, we will go to Yau Ma Tei to buy some cakes. After that we go to Avenue of Stars. We just spend a little time to take some pictures and then go to Central to take a look in The Peak. About 22h we will go back to the airport. 1/ There are many buses that can take you to many directions in Hong Kong, and also, you can take Airport Express Train to get out of the airport.2/ I'm not sure if you mean the Octopus Card, this is a multi usage card that can be used on MTR, Bus, Ferry as well as some stores. Pay the ticket fare of MTR or bus, you'll get certain amount of discount, but if you just stay there for 8 hours, you don't need to buy one, since the refund fee is HK$7 if you refund you card within 3 months of issue. You just take the MTR and bus by cash, just prepare some small change in advance.3/You can take Bus A21 and alight at Argyle Centre, Nathan Road.4/ Your plan is OK, just watch out the time, have a nice time in Hong Kong!
