About:Hong Kong Disneyland

hi honkongman,
how much is the mtr fare for adult and children from dorsett seaview hotel to disneyland and to ocean park as well.do you think i can save if i travel using taxi than mtr. i have 2 kids with me and my husband. need your advise.

Hi. Dorsett seaview hotel is closr to Yau Ma Tei MTR Station. It costs 18.5HKD for single trip to Disneyland, 9HKD for children. It costs 10.5 from Yau Ma Tei to Admiralty. Get out from Exit B and find the bus 629 to Ocean Park, 10.6HKD for the adult bus fare. No, taxi is expensive in Hong Kong. It costs about 200HKD by taxi to Disneyland. So, take mtr and bus.

The fare depends on wether you have Octopus Card or not. With Octopus: To DisneylandHKD16.6 per adult, 8.3 per kid. To Ocean Park you can take Bus 171 at MAN MING LANE YAU MA TEI /Man Ming Lane, Nathan Road and alight at ABERDEEN TUNNEL/Aberdeen Tunnel Toll Plaza. Costs HKD11.1 per adult and kid costs half.
Without Octopus: To Disneyland HKD18.5 per adult, HKD9.0 per kid.
To Ocean Park around HKD13 and kid costs half. Taxi is more expensive, it is better to take MTR and city bus.
