About:Xian Bus/Metro Search Tool

Staying at Citadine apartments in Xian (near Bell Tower). Would like to visit Han Yang Ling Museum on my way to the airport. We are a party of four and I was wondering what it would cost by taxi for hotel pick up, then to Han Yang Ling Museum (stay for three or so hours) and finally on to airport. Any website offering this service would be appreciated.

You can ask your hotel to help you call a taxi. Remember to make a deal of the taxi fee and pay it on arrival. If you ask for the chauffeur to wait for you in Hanyangling, it may totally cost you about CNY120.

Thank you. CNY120 sounds a lot cheaper than the prices I've seen on the internet some places are asking upto CNY350 which sounds expensive.

It's impossible to pay only 120 yuan for a round trip driving to and from Hanyangling plus three hours waiting.

I presume Mr. Leo estimation of 120 yuan is only for the round trip driving, not including the waiting time. It will cost at least 50yuan for each hour's waiting, I guess.

OK so what you guys are saying is that it's giong to cost around 300 yuans for this trip including waiting. Is it going to be relatively easy to find someone for this price or are they likely to charge us more as we are not locals? Didn't really fancy the idea of doing this trip on the way to the airport because I would be a little uneasy leaving all our luggage in a cab with a stranger and thinking about whether our luggage was safe would spoil my trip.

Just an option, maybe you can take airport shuttle to the airport first and store your luggage there and hire a round trip cab go to Hanyangling and back, if time permit. Good luck~

My flight is around 6.00pm. Where would I store my luggage at the airport and any suggestions how I work this one out? How easy would it be to get a taxi to take us to Hangyangling as we do not speak the language.

Hi MS, frankly, I think it will be difficult for you to hire a taxi which could drive you to the airport->Hanyangling->airport. Otherwise, it will charge you more than CNY300.

Or, you may leave luggage at the airport, and then go to visit Hanyangling in the early morning either by bus or cab. Then, you could return to downtown aroundn 13:00, still enough time left for you take a shuttle bus to the airport.
