About:Expo 2010 Shanghai China

Dear Mr. Jamie

Further to your kind response on the admission fee discounts from most attractions for senior citizens. What about the public transportation fares on subways, buses, and the admission fee for the Shanghai Expo 2010, are there any discounts for senior
citizens including foreign visitors? Thanks.

Hi, Vichai. I mean local citizens which are given senior certificate issued by the gocernment. Shanghai Ocean Aquarium do not emphasis on the sertificate, just saying bring your Id certificate. So, I suggest you bring your Id and passport, ask the office staff when you buy the ticket. Shanghai Expo do have discounts on elder people, no problem for that. No discounts on public transportation and little discounts even if you buy the transportation card. So, if you do not stay long in Shanghai, just pay by cash. Local people showing their special card can take the bus free of charge.
