Hi,
I know that HKD is commonly used in Macau but was told that the traders in Macau prefer RMB (China Ren Min Bi). Is it correct?

Thanks Bill,
I can't change MOP in my country.
Where can I change the currency in Macau? I am goin by flight.
Do they accept HKD or RMB to exchange for MOP?

You can see if the banks in your country can exchange HKD in Macau, since HKD is accepted in Macau. When you arrive, you can change the money in Banks in the airport, or you can change it at other banks or casinoes.
