There are buses every 20 minutes from 7:00am-7:35pm from Chengdu XInnanmen Bus Station (Chengdu Tourist Transportation & Service Center) to Leshan (肖坝车站 Xiaoba Bus Station). It takes about 2 hours. You have to take bus 13 to the scenic area of the buddha. Get back to the bus station in the afternoon and the last bus back to Chengdu is at 7pm.

Thank you for your post! I'd like to ask you two more questions, please.

1. For one day, is it possible to visit both Emeishan and Leshan Giant Buddha?

2. If the answer is "yes", please advise how I can visit both places, departing from Chengdu. Please note that I still want to go back to Chengdu that night and you said that the last bus leaves Leashan at 7pm.
