About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

hi,im leaving here in shanghai for almost 4 years now i used to have working visa but my previous company closed and my working visa expired now i have it extended into L or tourist visa i can not extend it anymore i have to go to hong kong or philippines to get another visa then come back here,can i obtain an L visa in hong kong?im planning to go there this coming septmber.

Ms.Jean, you can apply for a new L visa to china in Hong Kong, and if you did all right during your stay in China, I think you will have no trouble to get it.

Well Ms Jean so your work permit is expired well you can apply from hong kong but you must give them prove why you want to stay in china more because you was living and working for 4 years in china . So must arrange a good request to the visa officer if not your application won't be accepted now its strict not like before .
