Do you mean the summer holiday? Well, the holiday will be different in different cities and school. Which one do you specific for?

I mean spring and autumn holidays? Generally when is that? because I think chinese travel a lot during this period?

The spring holiday, namely spring festival, may starts from the mid of Jan to the mid of Feb. The autum holiday is Oct 1~7.
