About:China Southern Airlines

I will be studying in china for 5 months and was granted a 6-month single-entry visa. I am required to apply for a resident permit within 30 days of landing. How does the resident permit work for traveling purposes? Can I re-enter china multiple times with it?

Most of the times please carry about your passport, so you can stay in hotels if you want to travel on the Mainland. When have the Chinese Temporary Residence Permit applied, you are allowed unlimited exit and entry during its validity. Here is some info. about the Chinese Temporary Residence Permit on the page:
