Question

Thanks Lisa for yr prompt reply. I actually had to wait 3 days for the reply to show up on the screen. I will take the taxi but can u tell me the nearest Metro/light train/ bus stop from my hotel near the Drum Tower? Need transport to get around. Will have to take a taxi to the nearest stop the next day. Can I take the tourist bus from the Beijing South Railway Station to the Drum Tower and travel by taxi to my accommodation? Sorry for being such a bother.My guest house is Purple courtyard (No.24 Shajing Hutong Jia, South Luogu Alley, Dongcheng District Beijing)

Walk from the Drum Tower towards north about 1 km, you will get to Guloudajie Subway Station. Subway Line 2 pass through the station and buses 60 and 82 have stops here.You can take the tourist bus from Beijing South Railway Station to the Drum Tower and then take a taxi to your hotel.
