About:Wild Great Wall in Beijing

how do we go to Ming Tombs from Badaling Great Wall?

We are taking the train at Beijing North Station to get to Badaling Great Wall. After exploring the Great Wall, how do we go to Ming Tombs? And from Ming Tombs, how do we get back to the Train Station at Badaling to go back to Beijing City?

Based on what I read on the internet, I can ride a bus from the Badaling Great Wall and then transfer to another bus which will go directly to Ming Tombs. I am afraid to follow this coz I might get lost and can't ask for help because of the language barrier. Are there any taxis near the Badaling Great Wall? How much taxi bill do we expect if we opt for a cab in going to Ming Tombs. Thank you.

Not far from the entrace to the Great Wall, you can find a parking lot where many 919 buses are there. Take 919 支 3to Changping Dongguan (昌平东关). Make sure you find the correct bus. Then change to Bus 314 at Changping Dongguan to Changling, Dingling of the Ming Tombs. In Changling Mausoleum, there is Bus 925 which runs to Deshengmen, downtown Beijing, directly. It is about one hour. So, you do not have to go back to the train station and wait for the train back. It takes much longer time by train. If you take taxi, I think it may be 110RMB or so from the great Wall to Ming Tombs.

I just come back from China. I think it is ok if you just skip the Ming Tomb because it's just the same building like in Forbidden city..spend more at the Great Wall..It was really awesome!!!
