About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Hi, I tried reading as many Q&A's as I can, hoping to see if there was a similar question answered already. After 5 pages or so, I can say I'm still lost. This will be my first time in Beijing, very excited. I didn't know though that you need a visa to go to mainland China, because other nearby Asian countries I don't need one. Good thing it says it only takes 4 working days to process the visa. I've seen the requirements of the visa, and I have to say, the application form is short, but list of requirements for first timers is quite long. Longer than the recent Australian visa I applied for a few months ago, but their application form was much longer. Anyway, my question is, is it possible for my father to sponsor me(in other words prove that he can support my trip) even if he doesn't live in China? If it is possible, what will be the requirements be then on my end? I'm just applying for a tourist visa? I'm kinda of lost in the list of requirements for tourist visa, like number 6 has a breakdown from a-f. So I'm wondering are all a-f a requirement but it doesn't seem like it also. If my father and/or his company will sponsor me will I just follow #6 a & b? I hope someone can help me. Thanks

Your father can't sponsor you because he doesn't live in China, but his company can sponsor you. As for the requirements of Number 6, besides the a & b, you also need to provide other requirements according to your status, employed persons, student or business man, the Personal appearance is also required if you are 16-21 years old. Just provide the documents according to your status, one of the documents from c, d, e.
