About:Changchun

I am a Malaysian.I'll arrive at Shanghai Pu Dong Airport from Japan. I have six hours transit at Shanghai Pu Dong Airport on my way to Singapore.

Can i exit from immigration for meeting my friend at Shanghai Pu Dong Airport during six hours then I'll get boarding pass to Singapore before two hours for departure?

Ms.Lee, you can exit from Immigration to meet your friend, however, you need to apply for 1 day stay permit at the Shanghai Pudong Airport.

Can i apply for 1 day stay permit on the spot when i arrived Shanghai Pudong airport? Or i must apply the permit at China Embassy in Malaysia before the trip? Should i pay for the fee of this permit?

Ms.Lee, the 1 day permit can be done on the spot. Don't worry, it is cheap.
