About:Beijing Capital International Airport

Hi,

I am flying from Seattle to Beijing in Hainan Airlines (HU496). Then after 16 hours, I am flying from Beijing to Dhaka by China Eastern Airlines(MU2035). Both are in Terminal 2.

1. Do I need a transit visa? I do not plan to leave the airport.
2. Will I have to collect my luggage at Beijing and re-check them in with China Eastern?

1. You don't need a visa for trasit at Beijing Airport.
2. this will dependon your airline companies. If you hold connecting flight ticket, the two airlines companies will transfer the luggage automatically for you. Otherwise, please collect it and re-check-in. Anyway, I think your time of 16 horus are enough to do so~
