About:Shopping in Shanghai

My family is going to be in Shanghai next week. We only have 2.5 days before heading to our next city destination. I'd like to sightsee and shop. Where is the best place to find good quality reasonably priced clothing & shoes? I will be staying at Minya hotel in Pudong.

I think you can go to Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road. Both of then are big shopping center in Shanghai. They are not far from your hotel.

Thanks Ms. Sara.
Is taxi the best way to get to Nanjing Road & Huaihai Road? What is the taxi cost from the hotel in Pudong to these places.

I think taxi is more convenient.
It costs about 30 yuan from the hotel to Nanjing Road and Huaihai road.

You can go to Qipu Lu - take line 10 to Tian tong lu, or u can take bus line 929 to the area. Its a huge place with lots of buildings selling really cheap clothes and shoes and bags. Just check the item thoroughly for quality, and if u think the price is right, then go for it.

I buy my shoes here for 30 RMB (4.50 usd), dress for 40-70 rmb (10 usd and less), etc. its a good market. so save all that energy and head on there.

recently i also discovered a mall full of korean stuff. all cheaper than those sold in korea. but same same same.
