help!

My wish is to get a visa,L visa I guess, but my wish is to look for employment as an English teacher in Shanghai. Is that possible in any way. I would rather job hunt in Shanghai rather than apply for a position over the internet. I have an address where I will live in Shanghai, a bachelor's degree, my teaching certificate and 15 years teaching experience. I think there's a way to be recognized as a foreign expert... Can anyone shed some light or suggest anything?
