About:How to Apply for a China Visa

I submitted the form with my new and old passport
1. Proof of sufficient finances (more than Rs.10Lacs for past 6 months)
2. Confirmed air ticket with stamp from airlines.
3. Covering letter from company and passport copy.
4. Invitation letter from my girlfriend's father and copy of my girlfriends household book.
But it got rejected and All my documents were returned with "Notice Of Returned Application" saying that form was not duly completed.(I had put wrong date of passport expiry in the form.) Also they had marked another reason under OTHER. The note in the end of this notice says that Please supplement or correct document for re-submission to the center.
1. So can I just resubmit the form by correcting passport expiry date and would it be successful now, providing same documents or should I add some more documents this time?
2.Is there any particular period before another application can not be made?
3.Was the application rejected or was it sent back for more clarification when I submit it again do I have to check the box Yes for the question asking whether your Chinese visa was ever rejected?

The Chinese Embassy has the right to decline those visa applications when applicants provide fake information or their forms are found not duly filled out. So, you'd better fill it completely and correctly. (And if your passport does not have 6 months validity, you need to renew it first.)
For your visa rejection, there is cause as they point out, so, you can resubmit any time and better check with 'Yes'and put your explaination there.
