About:Chinese Embassy in Costa Rica

Dear Wang Xiaoyuan,

My friend who holds a HKSAR passport is in Liberia in Costa Rica now. She is trying to get to Nicaragua via bus and stay there for 19 days. But the officer in the boarder doesnt let her go. He said "people who hold chinese passport cant enter their country."

And I checked with the Hong Kong Immigration Department to confirm that HKSAR passport holder doesnt need a visa to enter Nicaragua. So, i guess the officer in the border cant refuse my friend to enter Nicaragua, right? Is there anything you can help in this case?

Ms.Wing -cheung Siu, now, the HKSAR passport holders are not exempt from a visa to Nicaragua, you can search the information in Google by using the keywords "Visa free access to HKSAR passport holders".
