About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

I am traveling to Thailand and staying with friends. I would like to visit China later, is it possible to apply for a visa in Thailand for my trip to China or does it have to be done before I leave Australia? I think I have left it too late to apply in Australia as I leave on friday 13th. Thanking you.

Mr.Pols, it is advisable for you to apply for China visa in Australia, now, there is still time for you to submit visa application, it takes 4 working days for the embassy to process visa application. If you submit visa application on 5th August, you can get your visa on 10th August. (7th, 8th August is on weekend)

It is also possible for you to apply for China visa in Thailand. However, in a few situation, the applicants who are tourist in Thailand will be denied, but the chance is slim for Australians.
