About:China Weather

I am going on a Viking River Cruise starting on Sep 9 for 12 days. I will be going to Shanghai first for three days, then cruising the Yangtze River. Then I will go to Beijing for three days. What will the weather be like in that time? What kind of clothes should I bring?

Shanghai and some part of the Yangtze River will be in rainy season in early Sep. The rainstorm may happen on some hot afternoon, will not influence the travel a lot. You could wear short clothes, but long jeans and shirt will be helpful when you take the cruise. Beijing will be sunny and somewhat cool days, summer clothes will be ok.
