About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Hi,
I just apply my visa to China. I'll be going to Shen Zhen Sept this year for 2 weeks.
The problem is at the visa they type my name not the same as at the passport.
At passport my name is Jap Khaw Yun. But at the visa they write J.Yun.
Is this a problem? If yes, what should I do ? Should I :
1. Apply a new visa
2. Ask them to repair the visa, for example make a note or something
3. Just use the visa, if at Shen Zhen the visa is decline then I apply an arriving visa
Please tell me.

I think, you'd better to repair your visa, make a note for that mistake about your name (See if your visa duration is for 2 weeks?). If you apply for a visa on arrival at Shenzhen border, you can only get a visa for at most 5 days duration of stay.

Dear Mr.Mike,
my city is very far from the embassy of China, about 2,5 hour by plane. I make my visa via agent. So, you suggest that I ask my agent to get a note from the embassy, right? If the agent refuse, what should I do? Can I apply for a new visa, although this visa of mine has just been make? My visa is single entry for 1 month.
I don't want to take the risk of being reject at Shen Zhen imigration
Please help. Thank you.

Once they issue you a visa, your information is recorded in their system. They probably will refuse your application. I think your visa is entitled as one to visit mailand China, not for Shenzhen only.As far as I know, applicants are required to check the visa information when pick it up in Embassy, if you find any mistake in your visa, turn to the visa office and they will correct it. They will not take responsibility once you leave. So, I think, it is your agent's fault.
