How many trains are there from Beijing North Railway Station to Badaling and from Badaling to Beijing everyday and what’s the depart time? Do I need to buy the ticket in advance or just buy it at the point in August? Thanks in advance.

There are five trains (Y563 at 7:26, Y567 at 9:33, Y575 at 13:19, Y583 at 16:45 and Y591 at 21:27) everyday from Beijing North to Badaling. Generally, you can buy the ticket when you get there. The everyday means during April-October.

There are three trains from Badaling to Beijing North Railway Station (Departure time: 11:42, 15:22, 19:40) per day. Because it’s summer holiday in August and there will be more travelers, I suggest you buying the tickets in advance. Tickets are available at all the railway stations and ticket windows in the city.
