Countless Chinese people. It is well know that Emperor Qin Shi Huang sent 1/20 of the whole nation's people to built the Great. In fact, the wall began to be built in Spring and Autumn Period. The Great Wall we see today was built in Ming dynasty, ordered by Emperor Yongle.
