About:Top 10 Useful Shanghai Travel Tips

Hi,I will visit to Shanghai with my wife from 25-29 Oct '10 (F&E trip).
Consider to book East-Asia Hotel which located at Nanjing Road, is it at a good location? Else, got any other good recommendations for me?

East-Asia Hotel is a good choice. It located at Nanjing road which is the biggest commercial center of Shanghai and woth distance to the subway Line 10 station. It is very convenient.

Mr David, thanks for ur value infor...My friend just told me that stay in Shanghai for 5days is quite boring...nothing much to see there...really? He suggest me to spend 2/3days at Suzhou/Hangzhou...What is ur advise? Thanks & have a nice day :)

Hi Chiew, I dong't think so. There are many things to do in Shanghai, such as the Expo at present. Well, it is suggested that you spend 2 days in visiting the essence of Shanghai, and then one day to explore Suzhou, two days to Hangzhou.

I think one day is enough in Suzhou, I mean the gardens. If you want to see the water town near downtown Suzhou, need another day. Yes, two days in Hangzhou.

Already booked the room at East Asia Hotel No. 680 Nanjing Road (E),Shanghai, China,200001. May I know how to get there from Shanghai Railway Station and what is approximate cost for the transport? Thanks.

Hi chiew, after arrival at Shanghai Railway Station, please follow the directions to take subway Line 1 and get off at the People's Square. Please choose the exit to Nanjing Pedestrian Street and you will find the hotel quickly along this road on your left hand.
