About:China Weather

According to the forecast it will rain in shanghai beijing and Xi'an, BUT what does it mean concretely does it mean it will rain all day long or rather during an hour or two?

Please folks who live there I need your objective answers

Hi, I'm in Xian and it doesn't rain all day long, sometimes for one morning or one night. But not throughout morning to night.
