About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

I am the #3 ranked tennis player in NZ and would like to play in a US$75000 tournament in Beijing. My qualifying event would start on the 31st July 2010. I have had an injury so I am sorry to be late asking for a visa. I was not sure if my wrist would be OK. I think it will. It is now the evening of Tuesday the 20th July. Do you think I can get a Visa approved in about 8 days as I would have to leave around the 28th to avoid jetlag for my games? I live in Christchurch. Is the embassy in Wellington? My sister lives in Wellington and she speaks Mandarin...I could get her to help me. Am I just too late? Thank you so much for any help.

Yes, south Island is consular district of the Chinese Embassy. The address is: 2-6 Glenmore Street, Kelburn, Wellington, New Zealand. Normal service for application takes 4 working days. (It may take 6-8 working days if the application was couriered to us.) If you come in person or entrust your sister to do it, the express (2-3 working days) and ruch service (same day) is available.
