About:Ningbo Transportation

Hello
I am currently in Hangzhou for a month and looking to go to Putuoshan for a couple of days. It seems that some information I have read discusses a ferry leaving from Ningbo while others mention Daxie. What is your recommendation for the easiest way to get there.

Also, I have read mixed reviews on booking a room before going to Putuoshan or just waiting until I arrive. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Mr. Mosby, it is very convenient to take bus from Hangzhou Tourist Center at Huanglong Sports Center to Mt. Putuoshan. Since the earlise bus arrives at the pier where you can take ferry to the temple. The earliest bus leave at 07:30 in the morning. Have a nice trip!
