About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

Hello - I am going ot be travelling in Neplal for 5 months and after that me and my freind will be travelling to China for 2 weeks.
As a Chinese visa only lasts 3months we have to try and get it from the chinese embassey in Nepal - Has anyone successfully done this? As we will be really in trouble if we cant - with return airfares and volunteering fees paid for.

Thank you

Ms.Walker, it is hard to answer this question, generally speaking, Non-nepalese citizens shall provide documents that entitle them to reside for an extended period of time in Nepal, such as valid visa, residence permit or work permit. Temporary visitors to Nepal should apply for a Chinese visa in their own country. For the special case, the visa officer has the rights to make the final decision on whether issuing a visa or not.

I guess that you still have the chance to get a China visa in Nepal if you can provide a Nepal visa valid for 5 months or longer.
