I would like to take a train from Dalian to Xiamen and return from Xiamen to Dalian in August 2010. Can anyone suggest any train (either direct or transit) from Dalian to Xiamen or Xiamen to Dalian? How much is the train fare?

No direct trains are running between the two cities. For connecting routes, you could transfer at Renqiu, Bazhou or Nanjing. And it totally costs about 45 hrs on the train. For the train ticket price, you can search on the website. However, it just takes less than 4hrs by flight.
