how to get from chang an grand hotel, to the badaling great wall?

I am wondering if anyone can help me  how to get from my hotel, Chang An Grand hotel, to the Badaling Great Wall? I don't know area, where it is  located, and how to used the public transportation. I will be coming there and I only have a one free day, i would like to use that day to see the Badaling Great Wall.  Do you know if Chang An Grand is in a good area and how far it is to the Great Wall?  And what are the things that can be done around that area? Has Anyone stayed in Chang An Grand Hotel? Can anyone tell us about the area please?. Thanks

It seems the hotel do not have convenient public transportation. The bus 919 (快) to Badaling is available at Deshengmen, Jishuitan Subway Station. You hotel is not wakable from subway station. You should change two buses on the way to Deshengmeng.
