About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

My husband and I are hoping to travel to Tianjin in October for three days before boarding a cruise which travels to Japan and South Korea then back to Shanghai. We then go to Taiwan and back to Hong Kong.I am of the belief that we need a double entry visa as we don't need a visa for Hong Kong. Is this right? Also as the travel company want us to pay for our trip 2 days before we are able to obtain visas. We have had them agree to wait a short while but we would like to rush our visas through to avoid the loss of our trip. We live about 1 1/2 hours from Sydney and 2 hours from Canberra. Can we go to the embassy in Canberra and apply for a same day visa to avoid problems? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Mrs.Belinda, Chinese ordinary visa (including tourism, visiting relatives, business, study, employment, transit, crew, journalism or residence visas) applications should be submitted to the CVASC Chinese Visa Application Service Centre now. For detail info about the processing time, please visit www.visaforchina.com.au
