About:Beijing Travel

hi there, my family is planning to visit beijing on december 26-29,2010. and i am searching for a 4-5star hotel in wangfuying street. can you please recommend an english speaking hotel located in this area? and kindly give us a tourist spots which we can visit in two days? and the best restaurants we can have our lunch and dinner, chinese, mediterranean or continental cuisines?i find your site very useful and very informative. am thinking of Grand Hyatt Hotel, is this ok and pleasant hotel. your reply is very much appreciated. thankyou.

There are many nice star-rated hotel located in walking-distance to Wangfujing. These hotel staffs do speak good English. You may consider the Wangfujing Grand Hotel, the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the Beijing Hotel.

For a 2-day's tour: 1st: Tianmen Square->Forbidden City-->Beihai Park->Houhai Bar Street (nightlife and try Quanjude Roast Duck)
2. Badaling Great Wall->Qianmen Street (where time-honored Beijing restaurants could be found.

Please visit the Wangfujing Snack Street where you will find local snacks as many as possible. On the other hand, in these large shopping plaza, nice Chinese and western restaurants are located.
