How long does it take to clear the immigration and customs in pudong air port

If your final destinatio is Shanghai, namely go through the immigratation and customs, it will take you about one hour.
If you make an international transfer at Shanghai Airport,no need to go throug immigration and customs, 20 minutes will be enough.
