I hope to visit my ancestoral village for 3 days in Taishan City, Guangdong(the village is chong-yun cun) approx 12 km from Taishan which I plan to stay.Starting from Hongkong, what is the best way (in the shortest time) to go to Taishan? I intend to get back to Hongkong airport on the 3rd day to catch the evening flight back to Malaysia.Thank you.

It is suggested that you make transfer at Shenzhen. Departing from Hong Kong, please take the KCR East Railway to Luohu border and then enter into Shenzhen on foot. After you pass through the border, please follow the directions to Shenzhen Luohu Bus Station. This bus station has schedule coaches to Taishan City directly from 07:50 to 19:10 hourly. The journey is about 3 hours and CNY90. On the third day, please use the same way back to Shenzhen and then to Hong Kong Airport.
