About:

I am going from Shanghai to Beijing by train, where can we buy the ticket, and what railway station? Can I buy the ticket on the spot?thanks

Both at the ticket offices of Shanghai Railway Station and Shanghai South Railway Station, you could purchase the train tickets. On the other hand, at these ticket hall distributed in downtown Shanghai, the ticket is sold as well. However, these ticket halls are not open 24 hours round the clock.

Usually, it is suggested that you purchase the ticket at least 1~3 days in advance, especiall from July~August of the summer vacation
