About:Forbidden City

Hi, Forbidden city questions:
1. How long does the queue for the entrance tickets take approximately?
2. We can buy entry tickets at the entrance right? Would it be cheaper to buy elsewhere,i.e. travel agents?
3. Can we flag taxis at TFC's north entrance?
4. Is 8:30am a good time to go visit TFC?
5. Heard that there are many entry points to The Great Wall? Which is the best in terms of scenery?

Thanks in advance!

Mr.Funslover,

1. It depends. During the high season, you may wait for long. You may go there a bit early so that you needn't wait too long.

2. I suggest you buy the ticket at the entrance of the Forbidden City. Be ware that some people who say they have cheaper tickets may sell fake tickets. Don't get cheated.

3. Yes. Outside the north gate, you can walk on your left to find a place where you can flag the taxi.

4. Well, you at least needn't wait too long for buying the tickets. And there might be fewer people inside.

5. Well, many travelers who comes to China for the first time will go to visit Badaling Great Wall. But the scenery on Badaling may not be the best. You may consider of Mutianyu or Simatai Great Wall instead.
