About:Top 10 Useful Shanghai Travel Tips

Hi there! we are going to shanghai this june end. we'll be staying there for three days. what are the must see places that we should visit in shanghai aside from the expo? and also are there any requirements to get in the expo?

Shanghai has less historically and culturally significant destinations than Beijing. Most tourists visit the Bund, but it is essentially a promenade (alongside handsome colonial architecture) affording a view of the modern Pudong skyline.

The Shanghai Museum is more educational and admission is free. Jade Garden (Yu Yuan) is okay, I don't personally recommend it to visiting guests. If you are interested in art, a trip to Moganshan Rd may be worthwhile. Taikang Lu (Tianzifang) is often visited by tourists and is a drinking, dining, and tchotchke-buying haven for foreigners. JingAn Temple and Jade Buddha Temple feel like rip-offs.

I would say the best way to experience Shanghai is to simply take leisurely strolls. And eat a lot...

There are no requirements to get into the Expo, other than having a valid ticket. No liquids are allowed onto the premises but you can bring an empty bottle as potable water is provided on-site.

thanks for the very informative suggestions. Where can we buy the tickets for the expo? can we buy it on the day, in the vicinity itself? or it might be sold out by that time? thanks.

hi once again ms. shen, sorry for all these question... do you have well known places or factories or even offices in shanghai that we can look into and partner with when it comes to textile business? in the likes of tshirts and blouses. maybe we can go there and visit them this weekend. thanks very much for the help and more power!
