hi,Does anytone know any travel agency that does tibet tour for backpacker? I prefer to stay at dormitory/guesthouse to keep the entire cost down. I am looking at 8-10 days Lhasa to Kathmandu tour departing latest 10 july 2010 or earlier (must be a join in tour). Tks.

hello Lynna,have you already start your backpacker travel? i wanna to travel there in august, for i start my holiday in august,and i am a chinese student.i have some tibetan friends. i think if you haven't start out, we may make commpany with each other so the cost will be lower.

Hi Mr Karan, You need to find a group tour first. From my experience, the costs are varied from all tour agencies. People have told me that price departing from beijing is expensive compared to chengdu and shangri la. So do email them to quote you the price. I was quoted RMB 3000 for transport and guide alone.
