About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

hello! I am a permanent resident of Malaysia but I hold an Iraqi passport (not the best pass to have!) and a few teachers I work with made plans to go to hong kong or taiwan. I went to taiwan embassy but I have given up! I really hope i can get a visit visa to hong kong but how do I get a sponsor? are there any hotels that can offer a sponsor??
Please help me I really want to go and its just for a few day.

Thanks in advance for your help

Ms.HADAWI, the sponsor in Hong Kong is not mandatory for HK visa application, if you don't have the sponsor, you don't need to provide it

Thank you Mr.Mike. When I went to the Taiwanese embassy they said I need a sponsor even for tourist visa! I haven't been to the HK embassy yet but I came to a conclusion then it would be the same. when I read your comment I thought Ill give it a try and hopefully they wont ask for a sponsor. Fingers crossed!
Thank you
