iam gettting married yichang china i july to cinese lady i have applied for a cert.of no  impediment frombirths deaths marriage office which is same as cert. single status as i was married before.i get this after 21 days .is this ok to take embassy for cert of single status from them or do i still need to have in notized  at local notary office and sent to foreign affairs ministry for certifacation and then go embassy

Mr.stewart, the Certificate of No Impediment and divorce certificate should be signed before a notary public, then certificated by Uk Foreign Affairs Ministry, then authenticated by China embassy/consulate in UK
