Is there a place to see the great wall that is not crowded with tourist. i do not mind riding the local bus or train to leave the tourist behind.

Yes,in Gansu province,Ningxia province and Shanxi province,where tourist will be much fewer,you can always enjoy your tour for great wall in these place.
