Hi,

I'm planning to go from Shanghai to Hangzhou via train. Which train station should I go? How much is the ticket? Can I come and buy the ticket on the day? If I need to book where can I book? Do you have any link to the timetables?

Thanks

You should go to Shanghai SOuth Railway Station. The train ticket costs 54/65RMB per person. Shanghai Railway Station has very few trains too. Most of the trains to Hangzhou are leaving from Shanghai South Railway Station. No need to book the ticket. Just go to the railway station and then buy ticket on the spots. For timetable, you can find here:

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have another question, is it better to get off at Yaohua Lu station or take Subway line 13 and get off to one of its stations (and which one is closer Madang Lu, Lupu Bridge or Expo Avenue stations)?
