About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Dear Sir:
I am an Australian citizen with the Australian passport, I intend to go to China to visit some relatives who live in Shanghai, if I don't have enought time to apply the entry visa in Australia, can I apply the landing visa at the airport after I land there? Pls advise ASAP. Thank you very much in advance.

you can't apply for visa on arrival at the airport in Shanghai, please obtain a China visa in Australia. It is very hard to get a visa on arrival within Mainland China except that you can satisfy the situations listed on this website https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/service.htm
