About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Hi. I will arrive at Beijing airport terminal 3 both going through to Singapore and coming back to Canada. Both times I have more than 8 hours of wait in the airport. Can I take the train into Beijing and back (for 5-6 hours) WITHOUT a visa? That is, can I leave the airport and still not need a visa? I would love to go sightseeing and for a nice meal during my time between flights. Thanks!

Yes, you could go to downtown Beijing without visa. Have a nice time in Beijing!

I have a wait time more than 8 hours. I will be arriving terminal 3. How do i get to Tiananmen? What bus number do i take for both going and returning to air port?

From the airport to Tiananmen, it is suggested to take shuttle bus line 1 to Dabeiyao (Guomao Bridge) Station. Then walk to Guomao MTR Station to take local subway line 1 to Tiananmen East or West directly.
