About:Shenzhen Travel

I have a job offer in Shenzhen but would like to live in Hong Kong - how long will it take from Shatin for example to Shenzhen? What are the visa requirements for this arrangement? I was born in Hong Kong - will this make a difference in visa requirements.

It is very easy for you take train from Shatin to Luohu Border, through which you could enter into Shenzhen. As I know, there are special permit for local Hong Kong residents to work in Shenzhen. You'd better go to the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for details: http://www.fmcoprc.gov.hk/eng/
