Macau is so small that you could visit these main attractions in one day. So, you could go to the Venetian Resort, and then go to visit the Ruins of St. Paul's and the nearby Senado Square. Since you have 10 together, why don't you ask an agent to arrange an one-day tour for you?

we're afraid hiring an agent would cost as much..that's why we decided to go on our own..do you have any idea how much it will cost us to hire one? and where can we find one?

Generally, the one day tour in Macau costs about 100MOP per person, maybe cheaper. I think if you know which places are you going to see in Macau, it is not necessary to hire a tour. Well, the point of hiring a tour is to have a van to take all of you together. You may also hire a vehicle for the last day. If you do not mind taking public bus, you can absolutely travel on your own. There are many free hotel shuttle bus in Macau, which can be also used to travel to another hotel nearby some attractions.
