About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Hello,
my girlfriend's(german) L visa will expire 10th of june. IN this moment we are living in a city in the shandong, but she need one more month of extention.
We went to the E&E Dept. Bureau in the city but they asked for the extention that is required that she have a CHINESE BANK ACCOUNT with 100$ for every day of extension.
I think this is ridiculus. I mean, even if is tought to show 3000$ dollars as a tourist I surely would not put them in a chinese account!!
So it is really the new law or is only a stupid request of this office?
Please help us!!

Mr.Sergio, yes, sometimes, the visa officer asks applicants to show financial certificate, at a rate of 100$ per day. In order to get the 30 days stay extension, you can deposit 3,000$ into a Chinese account, once she gets the visa extension, you can withdraw the money from the account.
