Wow, you are amazing people! Can I also ask your advice: visiting Shanghai in June for a good full 6 days. Main purpose to visit the World Expo. Hope to take a day trip to Hangzhou. Is it advisable to go and come back on same day or better to stay one night in Hangzhou? Hope to take the railway ourselves. Is it easy? Not the first visit to Shanghai. The last time we visited the Water Town.

If you are not tight in time, spend a night in Hangzhou. It will give you a leisure time and great sceneries. It is easy to take train from Shanghai to Hangzhou. Lots of trains departing everyday. And the journey is about 1 to 2 hours.
