About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi, I'll be visiting Guangzhou in September, and would like to do a 1 or 2 day trip to Hong Kong before returning to Guangzhou. From what I understand, I don't need a visa to visit Hong Kong, but will I need a new visa to return to Guangzhou afterwards? (Or will my existing 30 day tourist visa be sufficient?)

Thanks,
Geoff.

yes, you don't need a visa to Hong Kong but you need a new China visa to return to Guangzhou if you just hold a single-entry China visa to enter Guangzhou in the previous time. You'd better apply for a double-entry tourist visa in Australia.
