It is all possible. But what you must not miss is Shanghai World Expo. Ten days is a relatively long time. You should make a travel plan first as to which places to go, how to go and where to stay so as to make the best of it.

I don't think 10 days are enough for travelling to so many cities , especially for Shanghai World Expo! do you know how many people will come and visit the Expo Park per day? The first week after opening --- over 1 million!!! I think you need at least 1-2 days for the Expo plan. It all depends. You can spend a brief tour or thorough tour. If you want to visit them all, you need to be quick and brief to some of them. If you want a thorough tour, you can only finish part of those cities.

How many days do I need for each place i.e. visit the main attractions? Can I take the train from Hangzhou directly to Huangshan mountain; and Huangshan to Suzhou? How many hours are these train rides? Thank you.

Two days for each place are enough. If you want to leave from hangzhou to Huangshan, not train is available. You should get to Hangzhou West Bus Station. There are direct bus to Huangshan Scneic area. Telling the ticlet officer that your destination is Huangshan Scenic Area 黄山(风景区). There are two trains back to Suzhou from Huangshan. It takes more than 11 hours. They all leave at night and arrive at next day morning. So, it is not bad to save one night accomodation.

I'm planning to go Hangzhou after arriving at Shanghai Pudong Airport. Can I go directly by train or bus from the Pudong airport to Hangzhou? Thank you.
